Location
PUCP’s campus is located in San Miguel district, a 30 minutes drive from both Lima International Airport and the city’s hotel zone. Lima Airport is a key South American hub, with direct flights to major airports in Europe (Amsterdam, London, Madrid, and Paris), North America (Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto), and elsewhere in Latin American (Buenos Aires, Bogota, Mexico DF, Sao Paulo, Santiago). The city has a very large collection of hotels with a range of different capacities and costs. Lima also offers a privileged location to connect to major touristic locations of interest for conference participants, including Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred (Urubamba) Valley.
In terms of infrastructure, PUCP has three new buildings where the conference will take place, with a total capacity for more than 3,000 participants in more than 100 seminar rooms. The buildings have excellent Wi-Fi connectivity, its seminar rooms are equipped with projectors, and have cafeteria and restaurant services.
